Projection wizard Kaizen (Everett Keithcart) returns to Imagine Festival 2025 with two visually stunning offerings that are examples of his unique style of live-mixed multi-layered visions, which has garnered appreciative fans in the PNW's arts community.
Art Installations:
With his three-dimensional projection installations (such as those woven from flowers, ferns, and branches), Kaizen creates intricate canvases for experimental live projection art; weaving patterns of cosmic energy, scenes of nature and the elements, and personal visions in stained-glass style creations, appreciating the fabric of the present as well as visions of sublime states. On a secret path in the forest at Imagine 2025, you may be fortunate enough to find yourself lost and immersed in the chill ambiance of Kaizen's art installation, a restful, ambient relaxation zone between your travels from here to there. Stay a little or stay awhile, and enjoy the vibes.

Live-Mixed Projections + Dance Performance Productions
In his mesmerizing collaborations with dancers: against the black backdrop of a midnight sea, bodies become living canvases, and radiating kaleidoscopic visuals illuminate the breathtaking spinning forms of dancers accentuated with feathers, silks, flowing fabrics, and haunting otherworldly vibrations. Don't miss this dance production Saturday night at 10:45pm on the beach at Otter Cove, for 40 minutes of bass and downtempo music powering lithe performances of sparkle, grace, sass, and mystery!

Yaima Collaboration
After many years collaborating with Yaima as a live projection artist in for Seattle and Orcas Island appearances, as well as Costa Rica and a tour in New Mexico, Kaizen is honored to co-cocreate with Yaima once again in their performance Saturday night on the main stage at Imagine 2025.

For fifteen years, Kaizen has co-created moments of collective wonder throughout the PNW, in the spirit of co-creation in the community, as embodied by Imagine Festival. Whether crafting hours of patient artistry into floral installations that become projection canvases or creating intricate projection art pieces in real-time to the energy of performers and audience, his work transforms shared spaces into joyful, ecstatic celebrations where everyone together as community becomes paint on a shared living canvas, reminding us that in our shared experience, we become something greater than ourselves.
