Jody Poth

Jody hails from Seattle and brings years of experience in all aerial forms and partner work. With a background in dance, Butoh, experimental theatre, flow-based movement arts, Jody also pays heed to her years of diverse training, engagements, and partnerships. Notably, Jody has performed with Cirque du Soleil at Sea (2019) with her hoop duet partner, Julia Limoges; in Tu si que vales (Italy’s Got Talent) in 2021 with her aerial sling trio (PJ Perry and Dream Frohe), and in Leipzig, Germany at the Krystallpalast’s Newcomer Show at the International Variety Festival, landing an award with the famous Roncalli-Apollo Theatre. Jody’s other engagements include Imagine Festival, Valtesse Productions/Maison de V, My Circus Valentine, Bellingham Showcase, Cirquecadia, Shambhala Music Festival, Diffusion’s Panacea, Cirque Macabre, Cascadia Festival, Producer of Zepto Space, and in years past, The Cabiri (performative mythology troupe). Jody is currently the producer of local arts organization, Space Oddity, highlighting quirky and enigmatic performance art and space creation to bolster connection and freedom of expression in the community.
