Hernan Savastano

Originally from Argentina, Hernan’s family moved to the US as political refugees at age 10. Decades later he formed a folk/pop duo called the Sweetheart Army which gigged around Seattle. Inspired by plant medicine work, he began writing heart-centered medicine songs in his native tongue (Spanish) and performing with his band called La Dulce Vida at various PNW festivals. More recently, Hernan has focused on family and holding space at his retreat center Snowgrass Lodge in Leavenworth, WA. His latest EP was inspired by his daughter Raina and his journey to fatherhood. Hernan will be joined by dear musical friends Nora Heath on vocals and ukulele and Benjamin Thomas on percussion and guitar.
